Bad Gal is an independent, one-woman creative brand operated solely by Sabz…Hey!
All nail services, press-on sets, artwork, packaging, communication, website management, and fulfilment are completed by hand, by me.
Bad Gal is a private creative studio, not a public walk-in salon. Nails are treated as a medium of expressive art and personal identity.
By booking, or purchasing through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies below.
General Terms of Service
By using this website or engaging with Bad Gal services or products, you agree that:

All information provided (contact details, shipping address, sizing, etc.) is accurate at the time of submission

Bad Gal may contact you regarding your booking or order

Policies may be updated at any time; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance

Harassment, inappropriate conduct, or boundary-crossing behaviour may result in refusal of service
Bad Gal reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings if:

A client repeatedly cancels or no-shows

Abuse or disrespect is shown

Requested work would compromise safety, hygiene, or creative values

A condition may compromise safety or hygiene
-
The requested work risks damage to the natural nail

Policies are not respected
-
Behaviour is inappropriate, unsafe, or abusive

In these cases, appointments may be cancelled or ended at the technician’s discretion.
Health, Allergies & Medical Responsibility:
Clients must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, injuries, or skin concerns prior to their appointment.
While professional-grade products, safe techniques, and strict hygiene practices are always used,
Bad Gal Sabz accepts no liability for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or adverse responses to any products or materials used during services.
Patch tests are available upon request. Choosing to proceed without one is at the client’s own discretion.
Client Responsibility & Aftercare:
The longevity and condition of nail services depend on proper aftercare and individual lifestyle factors.
Bad Gal accepts no responsibility for:
• Lifting, breakage, or wear due to daily activities, occupation, impact, or water/chemical exposure
• Damage caused by picking, biting, or improper removal
• Natural nail weakness, regrowth, or changes after leaving the studio
• Failure to follow aftercare advice provided
Once you leave the appointment, ongoing maintenance becomes the client’s responsibility.
Service Results & Expectations:
All services are handmade and artistic in nature.
Exact replication of reference images or previous designs cannot be guaranteed.
Minor variations in colour, shape, or finish may occur.
By booking, you acknowledge and accept this creative interpretation.
Bookings, Cancellations & Studio Policy
Booking:

All appointments must be booked online after completing the waitlist process

Appointments cannot be guaranteed via DMs
-
Client has sole responsibility to reschedule their appointments using the booking system if unable to attend with appropriate given notice.

Appointments are one-to-one only
-
Studio address details are shared after booking for privacy and safety
Cancellations & No-Shows:
-
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule
-
Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee
-
No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment cost
-
Deposits are £20 & are non-refundable/non-transferable
Late Arrivals:
-
Arriving 15+ minutes late may shorten the service/downgrade level of art booked or require rescheduling
-
Depending on lateness fees may still apply as the time slot is reserved exclusively for you.
Guests:

Appointments are strictly one-to-one
-
No guests, partners, children, or observers unless privately agreed in advance please.
Repairs & Replacements (Services & Press-Ons)
Due to the handmade, custom, and hygienic nature of Bad Gal work, all sales are final.
Repairs or replacements at no cost will be considered if:
-
A clear product or application fault is present
-
You notify Bad Gal within 48 hours of your appointment (services) or delivery (press-ons)
-
Clear photos and relevant details are provided
Requests outside the 48-hour window or unrelated to a proven fault may be chargeable.
Misplaced press ons can be replaced with a fee.
Possible resolutions (at Bad Gal’s discretion) may include:

Repair of the affected nail(s)

Replacement of the same press-on design
-
Store credit
-
Partial refund
Repairs or replacements are not offered for:
-
Breakage, lifting, or damage caused by lifestyle, impact, or aftercare neglect

Normal wear and tear
-
Incorrect sizing provided by the customer
-
Adhesive or application issues
-
Changes of mind regarding length, shape, colour, or design
-
Disliking the final aesthetic if it matched the agreed brief
Press-On Nails / Sales & Shipping
All press-on nail sets are:

Made-to-order

Handmade

Created to your selected size, length, shape, and style

Individually packaged
Because they are custom and hygienic, press-ons are final sale unless return/repair requirements are met.
Privacy Policy:
Bad Gal respects your privacy.
When you book, purchase, or contact Bad Gal, basic personal information such as your name, email, address, sizing details, and order history may be collected to process bookings, fulfil orders, and provide customer support.
Your data is used only for business operations and is never sold or shared with third parties outside of secure payment and website providers (e.g. Wix, Stripe, PayPal).
Payment details are processed securely and are not stored by Bad Gal.

Fulfilment & Shipping:

Press-ons are slow-made; production times vary

Estimated timelines are shown on listings but are not guaranteed unless agreed prior.

Orders are shipped via tracked UK postage unless stated otherwise

Tracking links are always provided

Express delivery is available at Bad Gals discretion.
Once parcels are handed to the courier, delivery speed and condition are outside Bad Gal’s control. A tracking link will be provided.
Incorrect addresses provided by the customer cannot be refunded or replaced.
Gift Cards
Digital and physical gift cards are:

Non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash

Must be redeemed through online booking

Possessing a gift card does not guarantee appointment availability, you will still need to complete the waitlist form.
Creative Rights & Intellectual Property
All nail designs, artwork, photography, written content, and brand materials created by Bad Gal remain the intellectual property of the artist, Sabre van Dijk.
You may not:

Reproduce or copy designs for commercial use

Take Bad Gal artwork to another artist for exact duplication
-
Use brand imagery or copywriting without permission or credit
Photos of completed nails may be taken for portfolio or promotional use.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please say so at the start of your appointment, no explanation required!
Loyalty Scheme Policy:
Bad Gal may offer a loyalty or points scheme to thank returning clients.
Points are earned on eligible services and products and can be redeemed for discounts or rewards as outlined on the website.
Points:

cannot be exchanged for cash

must be redeemed at checkout
Points may not apply to gift cards, deposits, or shipping.
Bad Gal reserves the right to adjust, remove, or update the loyalty scheme at any time and to correct misuse or errors.
Customer Responsibility & Aftercare
Nail longevity is a shared responsibility. Customers agree to:

Understand lifestyle factors may affect wear (hands-on work, water exposure, oils, medication, nail health, etc.)
Bad Gal is not liable for:

Application results of press-ons, instructions and application kit are provided.
